The NSO has adopted a centralised approach towards dealing with clients. The staff members at the Library and Information Unit and Data Shop are the main interface between the NSO and the clients. This allows for a professional service that is provided by staff trained in handling requests whilst allowing statisticians to concentrate on their work - producing statistics.
If you do not find required information on this website, the National Statistics Office offers the possibility for statistical users to submit a request for statistical information. Before completing your request please check whether the information you require is available on our website. The NSO News Releases are available in full-text from the site home page and include a wide coverage of social and economic statistics. Statistical publications and reports are also available online in full-text.NSO will review each request. A number of requests are simple enough that the client is only redirected to the correct section of the web site. In cases where more work is involved, NSO will issue a quotation to the client. The price quoted depends on the work involved as well as the type of client – discounts apply for students.Once the client accepts the quotation, NSO starts working on the requested report. As soon as the report is complete, it is sent to the client. An invoice for the report is subsequently sent. As the client would normally require the data within a set timeframe, NSO does not wait for the client to affect payment before issuing the report.
